VACCINE UPDATE
The Influenza vaccine has been shown to reduce flu-related illnesses and the risk of serious flu complications that can result in hospitalization or even death.
Influenza vaccines are offered to our residents annually and will be given to all residents that have consented to receive the vaccine starting the week of October 7th.
RSV vaccines are recommended for our residents that are 60 years of age and older for the prevention of lower respiratory tract disease caused by the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
The new 2025-2026 COVID-19 vaccine will be available soon. It will help protect against the most recent variants of COVID-19. It is recommended that all residents 65 of age and older or those with underlying medical conditions receive the vaccine.
If you are interested in having your loved ones receive any of these vaccines or if you have any questions, please call Tammy Miller-Welty at 570-433-3161 ext. 1810.
