We recognize that rehabilitation is an important part of an effective, caring nursing center.

Our Rehabilitation services include:

Physical Therapy - for those recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or simply a decline in physical strength and ability.  Our physical therapists work with residents to improve strength, endurance, range of motion, and walking.

Occupational Therapy - focuses on restoring the ability to accomplish the tasks of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and eating.

Speech Therapy - treats difficulties in speaking, recognizing and using language, swallowing, and eating.

Restorative Nursing - a series of programs provided by Valley View Nursing Center which enhances the overall concept of wellness for the people who come to our facility.  The programs give our extended family a feeling of achievement by maintaining or enhancing their ability to walk, dress, eat, move and enjoy their life to the fullest.  Each program is geared to meet the needs of each individual.

Programs provided here at Valley View include:
(1) Ambulation
(2) Range of motion
(3) Dining
(4) Bowel and bladder and
(5) All concepts of activities of daily living.

 Each program is given by caring staff who believe it is not what we can do for our residents, but what our residents can do for themselves with cueing and encouragement, to promote the residents' sense of dignity.
