The Therapeutic Recreation Department of Valley View is designed to provide activities to meet the physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs of all its residents.  We strive to provide opportunities, which encourage involvement in personal recreational interests and activities.

We have large group activities such as bingo, church services, musical entertainment, bible study and weekly socials.  For those with small group interests, we offer crafts, games, current events, reminiscing, senior fitness, or one on one visits from the Therapeutic Recreation staff.

For our residents who choose individual activities, we have computers available, with Internet access to email friends and family. Residents can also enjoy the "Garden of 'Readin", puzzles, music, movies, and a lovely enclosed courtyard.

Our ultimate goal is to have each resident engage in a wide variety of activities that will enhance and enrich his/her life.
